“Rodeo Grand Island,” is an elite pro rodeo all-star event to be held March 13 and 14. Presented by First National Bank, this sanctioned Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) event will be held at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island for the fourth year.

Rodeo Grand Island features world class rodeo athletes, championship bucking stock and award winning contract personnel. The event is produced by South Dakota based Sutton Rodeo, which has enjoyed decades of success around the country. Sutton Rodeo is the producer of Rodeo Rapid City held annually at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center since 1978, a rodeo nominated 16 times for PRCA’s “Indoor Rodeo of the Year” award.

“We are excited to bring the crown jewels of pro rodeo to the heart of Nebraska,” says Steve Sutton, who along with his wife Kim and their children, and Steve’s parents Jim and Julie Sutton run the rodeo operation. “This is going to be a world class event with intense competition from some of today’s top rodeo stars.”

Experience one of the newest PRCA rodeos in the nation, Rodeo Grand Island. Top PRCA contestants will be competing in all seven rodeo events; Bareback, Tie Down, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding, Friday, March 13th at 7:30 pm and Saturday March 14th at 1:00 pm in the Eihusen Arena at the Heartland Events Center.

The PRCA Rodeo features 400 top PRCA contestants including World Champions, Wrangler National Finals Qualifiers, Prairie and Badland Circuit Champions all competing for prize money to carry them to a 2020 championship title!

Don’t miss the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour, sponsored by First National Bank, Saturday, March 14th at 7:30 pm in the Eihusen Arena, at the Heartland Events Center, Grand Island NE. PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour will feature 35 top PRCA bull riding contestants competing against 35 of the top bulls in the world for over $36,000 in prize money.
