The Tri-City Street Rods is excited to announce our 50th Annual Auto Exhibition. The Exhibition will be held at the Fonner Park Pinnacle Bank Expo Center. Dates are Saturday, February 25th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm, and Sunday, February 26th from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. To reach the milestone of 50 years is definitely something to shout about and to CELEBRATE! To commemorate this Special Anniversary all the vehicles in the Exhibition are going to be 50 years old and older! You are going to want to see this!

Keep up with the Tri-City Auto Exhibition by LIKING and FOLLOWING the Tri-City Street Rods Facebook page. We will be posting some of our favorite memories from the past 50 years along with a video of some of the past shows.

We are proud to announce that Tri-City Street Rods has partnered with BluePrint Engines of Kearney, Nebraska and they have DONATED a Chevrolet 383 small block engine that will be raffled off at the exhibition. All of the proceeds from the raffle will benefit Automotive Scholarships! Tickets are ONLY $10.00 each and ONLY 500 tickets will be sold.

The Tri-City Street Rods has done an outstanding job in recruiting entries from Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota, and local Nebraska builders. This exhibition continues to feature a variety of vehicles and various build styles. The car hobby is so unique because each builder takes a completely different approach. You can take the same vehicle and build it several different ways, getting an entirely different look using an identical platform.

This winter auto exhibition has become an icon in central Nebraska as it allows builders to showcase their skills. One of the feature cars at this year’s event is a 1973 Plymouth ‘Cuda owned by Brad and Laurie Farr of Cambridge, Nebraska. This car was built by Dynamic Rides of Kearney, Nebraska as a tribute to the former owner Brian Laue who was Laurie’s brother. This car features a completely remodeled chassis along with a late model hemi power plant. To accomplish this update the floor pans, firewall, and inner fenders had to be fabricated. There are over 150 CAD designed and 3D printed/CNC machined parts and over 9,000 man hours to complete this fantastic build.

Also featured at this year’s auto exhibition are several automotive related commercial vendors and even some candy. The vendor list is growing and will include: BluePrint Engines, Powerhouse Motors and Sports, Central Nebraska Dry Stripping, Sportland Coatings, Dynamic Rides , Central Community College, Nebraska Rod and Custom Association, Mountain Mamma Candy, and Perfect Finish Auto Pros.

Tri-City Street Rods would like to extend a BIG Thank You to all of Central Nebraska for the continued support that has allowed the Tri-City Street Rods Auto Exhibition to be able to celebrate the 50th Anniversary. This Exhibition has thrived because of the builders, spectators, and sponsors that continue to amaze us every year!

Tickets may be purchased at the door for $10.  Children 12 and under are free with an adult.  For additional information go to www.heartlandeventscenter.com.
